The Role
They are looking to hire a Building Enclosure Consultant to join a growing team delivering consulting, investigation, and testing services across a diverse portfolio of projects. This position offers a balanced mix of fieldwork and office-based responsibilities, including condition assessments, forensic investigations, field testing, and report preparation related to roofing, waterproofing, faƧades, and exterior wall systems. You will work closely with senior consultants and multidisciplinary teams, gaining exposure to both new construction and existing building diagnostics, while developing your expertise in building science and enclosure performance.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in building enclosure consulting, roofing, waterproofing, or a related field
  • Working knowledge of building construction practices and envelope systems
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, plans, and specifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or similar (preferred)
  • Familiarity with field testing standards (ASTM, AAMA, ANSI, etc.) is advantageous
  • Experience with exterior wall systems, curtain wall, windows, and roofing assemblies preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly technical reporting
  • Comfortable working both in the field (roofs, lifts, construction sites) and in an office setting
