About the Role
We're seeking a strategic and results-driven Business Development Director or Manager to lead client engagement and growth initiatives across the infrastructure and energy sectors. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects, particularly in areas such as transmission & distribution (T&D), substations, industrial facilities, and energy systems.
You'll play a pivotal role in expanding our presence in key markets by building trusted client relationships, identifying new opportunities, and collaborating with technical teams to deliver innovative, high-impact solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business development strategies to grow market share in EPC-driven sectors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in public and private sector organizations.
- Identify and pursue new project opportunities, including leading proposal development and client presentations.
- Collaborate with engineering and delivery teams to align client needs with tailored technical solutions.
- Stay ahead of market trends, competitor activity, and client priorities to inform strategic positioning.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking engagements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, business, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- 8+ years of experience in business development or client services within the EPC, infrastructure, or energy sectors.
- Proven success in securing and managing large-scale EPC projects in areas such as T&D, substations, industrial, or energy.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and entrepreneurial environment.
