Civil Sitework Superintendent
About the Company:
We are working with a premier sitework contractor serving the Dallas-Fort Worth area, specializing in excavation and underground utility installation for large-scale commercial developments. With a reputation for excellence and a commitment to safety, they are looking for a skilled Superintendent to lead field operations and ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and supervise all field activities related to excavation, grading, and utility installation.
- Coordinate daily with Project Managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain workflow and resolve issues.
- Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
- Manage field crews, equipment, and materials to maximize productivity.
- Conduct daily site inspections and safety meetings.
- Maintain accurate field reports, logs, and documentation.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in sitework construction, with at least 2+ years in a supervisory or superintendent role.
- Strong knowledge of excavation, storm drainage, water, and sewer systems.
- Proven ability to lead crews and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret civil drawings and site plans.
- OSHA 30 certification required or willingness to obtain.
