Key Responsibilities
- Develop and review architectural, structural, and civil designs for cleanrooms and support areas.
- Ensure compliance with high-rise building codes, emergency egress requirements, and incombustible materials.
- Lead CSA scope in fab conversion and expansion projects.
- Coordinate with MEP teams (HVAC, Electrical, Fire, WTS) for permits, design reviews, and execution.
- Manage CSA-related downtime planning, cost estimation, and lead time forecasting.
- Ensure designs meet local CSA and fire codes, including sprinkler systems and smoke exhaust.
- Support EHS teams with operational permits and safety design changes.
- Review and approve as-built documentation and construction drawings.
- Provide technical feedback during design and operational review stages.
- Act as CSA subject matter lead for multi-functional engineering teams.
- Mentor junior engineers and support training programs aligned with FETA 2.0.
- Represent CSA in strategy workshops and system improvement initiatives.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or related fields.
- Proven experience in CSA design and construction for semiconductor or high-tech facilities.
- Strong knowledge of local building codes, fire safety laws, and vibration criteria.
- Ability to work day shifts with occasional on-call support during construction phases.
- Experience with fab construction projects.
- Knowledge of cleanroom design standards and CSA integration with MEP systems.
- Certifications in construction safety or fire protection engineering.
