Job Title: Director of Technology - APAC
Specialization: ICT, Building Management Systems (BMS), and Physical Security
Location: APAC Region (Singapore preferred)
Travel Requirement: Frequent travel across regional sites (50%-65%)
Position Overview:
This leadership role oversees the strategic planning, design, construction, and commissioning of ICT, BMS, and physical security systems across multiple sites in the APAC region. The position ensures infrastructure is secure, resilient, and efficient, supporting business continuity, compliance, and optimal user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Regional Leadership & Execution
Manage regional technology teams and oversee projects from due diligence to customer handover.
Develop and implement regional strategies, standards, and roadmaps aligned with global policies.
Project Delivery
Lead deployment, upgrades, and integration of network systems, access control, BMS, and other low-voltage technologies.
Define technical specifications, manage vendor selection and RFPs, and ensure projects meet scope, budget, and timeline.
Vendor & Stakeholder Engagement
Serve as the primary liaison with site managers, IT, facilities, security teams, and clients.
Provide technical support and training to local teams.
Budget & Resource Management
Develop and manage budgets for ICT, BMS, and security initiatives.
Build and lead a high-performing regional team or coordinate matrixed resources.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Minimum 10 years of combined experience in ICT, BMS, and physical security, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
Strong technical expertise in networking, servers, cloud services, VOIP/UC, access control, CCTV, fire/intrusion systems, and BMS protocols (BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks).
Proven track record in project management and multi-site operations.
Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to travel extensively across the region.
