Electrical Engineer/Designer
    • Lead the preparation of comprehensive electrical construction documents from initial concept through final issuance, including the development of detailed design drawings, incorporation of markups/redlines, and ensuring accuracy and completeness across all deliverables

    • Design and engineer electrical systems for commercial projects, including power distribution, lighting layouts, and specialized systems, ensuring alignment with client requirements, project specifications, and industry best practices

    • Perform technical tasks such as specification editing, review of contractor submittals, responding to Requests for Information (RFIs), and evaluating project change requests (PCRs) to support seamless project execution and maintain design intent

    • Conduct site visits, field observations, and construction reviews to verify installation is in compliance with design documents, codes, and overall project standards, while proactively identifying and addressing potential issues

    • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including architectural, mechanical, plumbing, and structural disciplines, to ensure fully coordinated and integrated project designs

    • Review mechanical and related engineering documentation to ensure alignment across systems and proactively resolve any interdisciplinary conflicts

    • Serve as a client-facing representative by participating in meetings, providing updates, and supporting overall project delivery to meet expectations around timeline, budget, and quality

    • Manage assigned project tasks while providing technical leadership, oversight, and mentorship to junior engineers and designers, fostering both team development and high-quality output


    Qualifications

    • Minimum of 5-8+ years of experience in electrical design for commercial building projects

    • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred; Professional Engineer (P.E.) license (or ability to obtain) is a strong plus

    • Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply electrical and building codes (NEC and others) across multiple jurisdictions

    • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit MEP, with the ability to produce and coordinate detailed design documents within BIM environments

    • Strong technical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and contribute effectively within a team environment
