Are you an experienced Electrical Estimator looking to join a dynamic, forward-thinking team? Our client is an industry leader with over two decades of delivering high-quality electrical solutions across commercial projects.
What You'll Do:
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for commercial electrical projects.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure competitive bids.
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and proposals to determine scope and pricing
- Review project plans and specifications to determine scope, materials, and labor requirements.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial electrical projects, including material take-offs and labor calculations.
- Analyze bids and proposals, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to clarify requirements and resolve discrepancies.
- Utilize estimating software to produce accurate and timely estimates.
- Track and update cost databases to reflect current market pricing.
- Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits to gather essential project details.
- Provide value engineering suggestions to optimize cost without compromising quality.
- Assist in negotiating contracts and supporting the handover to the project delivery team.
