Field Operations Manager
A Field Operations Manager to lead and manage all field activities for transmission, distribution, industrial, and substation projects across the Northeast region. This role ensures safe, efficient, and compliant execution of projects while meeting schedule and budget objectives.
Responsibilities
- Oversee field operations for multiple projects including transmission lines, distribution systems, substations, and industrial electrical installations.
- Enforce safety standards and regulatory compliance; conduct audits and corrective actions.
- Manage field personnel, subcontractors, and equipment allocation; optimize workforce scheduling.
- Monitor budgets and control field-related costs; mitigate operational risks.
- Ensure quality assurance through inspections and adherence to engineering standards.
- Act as liaison between field teams, project managers, and clients; provide progress reporting.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate field supervisors and crews; drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
- 8-10 years of electrical construction experience, with 5+ years in leadership managing transmission, distribution, and substation projects.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards, safety regulations, and utility requirements.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and teams regionally.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Additional Requirements
- Extensive travel within Northeast region.
- Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
