An established heavy civil contractor is seeking a Foreman/Superintendent with strong experience in excavation, grading, concrete, and underground wet utilities. This role oversees field crews, ensures safety and quality, and keeps projects on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily operations for excavation, grading, concrete work, and wet utility installation.
- Coordinate crews, equipment, materials, and subcontractors.
- Read and interpret civil plans and ensure work meets project standards.
- Maintain site safety, quality control, and daily reporting.
- Communicate with project management, inspectors, and vendors.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of heavy civil field leadership experience.
- Hands‑on expertise in earthwork, utilities, and concrete.
- Ability to read civil drawings and manage crews effectively.
- Strong safety awareness and problem‑solving skills.
- Valid driver's license.
