Base Salary: $155,000 - $185,000 (DOE)

A leading General Contractor in the Pacific Northwest is seeking an experienced Heavy Civil Project Manager to oversee complex public works and infrastructure projects in the Woodinville region. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable, well‑respected contractor with a strong backlog and supportive leadership team.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all phases of heavy civil construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and field operations
  • Ensure compliance with contract documents, safety standards, and quality expectations
  • Collaborate closely with owners, engineers, inspectors, and internal teams
  • Oversee cost controls, change orders, procurement, and reporting
  • Mentor project engineers and field teams to support career growth and project success

Experience Needed

  • 5-15+ years of experience in Heavy Civil Construction (public works, infrastructure, utilities, roads, bridges, water/wastewater, etc.)
  • Proven success managing projects typically ranging from $10M-$150M+
  • Strong understanding of civil construction means & methods, scheduling, and risk mitigation
  • Experience working with public agencies (WSDOT, municipalities, counties, utilities, etc.)
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with owners and subcontractors
  • Proficiency in common construction software (P6, HCSS, Procore, Bluebeam, etc.)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and solve problems proactively
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites as needed
