MES Automation Engineer
We're looking for an experienced Automation & MES Engineer to join our team in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and help deliver smart, efficient solutions for the manufacturing industry. If you enjoy solving complex problems, working with cutting-edge technology, and collaborating with a skilled team, this could be the role for you.
What You'll Be Doing
- Working closely with customers to understand and define their technical needs.
- Designing and developing automation systems that improve manufacturing performance.
- Supporting all stages of the system development lifecycle-from design to deployment.
- Programming PLCs (preferably Allen Bradley) and integrating with SCADA and MES systems.
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues on-site and remotely.
- Collaborating with engineers, project managers, and clients to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Occasionally traveling to customer sites for installations and support.
What We're Looking For
- A degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, or Computer Engineering-or Computer Science.
- At least 8 years of experience working with control automation systems.
- Solid understanding of PLCs, SCADA, and MES platforms (e.g., Siemens Opcenter, Rockwell FactoryTalk).
- Strong troubleshooting skills and a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
- Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Comfortable working directly with clients and explaining technical concepts in simple terms.
