About the Role
We are seeking a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Mechanical Engineering with a passion for mission-critical infrastructure to join our fully remote team. In this role, you'll lead and support the design and engineering of cutting-edge data centers for some of the world's most innovative companies. You'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of experts, all while enjoying the flexibility and autonomy of a remote-first environment.
What You'll Do
- Lead mechanical design for data center projects from concept through construction.
- Develop HVAC systems, cooling strategies, and energy-efficient solutions tailored to hyperscale and colocation environments.
- Coordinate with electrical, structural, and architectural teams to ensure integrated design solutions.
- Perform site assessments, feasibility studies, and peer reviews.
- Ensure compliance with local codes, standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, etc.), and client specifications.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to internal knowledge-sharing initiatives.
- Interface directly with clients, vendors, and contractors to ensure project success.

Qualifications
- Active U.S. PE license in Mechanical Engineering (multi-state licensure a plus).
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical design, with at least 2 years focused on data centers or mission-critical facilities.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and mechanical modeling tools.
- Deep understanding of HVAC systems, airflow management, and energy efficiency strategies.
- Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in a remote, collaborative environment.
- U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required.
