Process Engineer Responsibilities
Lead multiple projects and clients concurrently
Serve as the primary client contact and escalation point
Manage and resolve issues across client engagements
Collaborate with equipment OEMs and installation vendors
Commission and validate clean utilities, including:
WFI stills and pre-treatment systems
Clean steam generators
Chilled water systems
Glycol systems
Plant utilities (steam, wastewater, lift stations)
General Responsibilities
Execute and document test scripts
Adhere to project timelines
Maintain detailed records for qualification and validation
Contribute to risk and impact assessments
Conduct user interface testing, software verification, and alarm testing for automated systems
Develop and review testing documentation
Recommend design or process modifications based on test results
Understand capital equipment implementation and process workflows
Interpret validation documents (URS, IQ, OQ, PQ)
Review and verify system drawings, including:
P&IDs and I&C drawings
Electrical schematics (with electrical engineer support)
Requirements
Minimum 10 years of experience in clean utility systems, including:
WFI stills and pre-treatment
Clean steam generators
Chilled water and glycol systems
Plant steam, wastewater, and lift stations
Ability to read automation documentation and convert process data to automation terms
Familiarity with IQ, OQ, PQ, and commissioning & qualification (C&Q) processes
Soft Skills
Self-starter with a proactive, hands-on approach
Able to work independently and across diverse teams
Experienced in both field coordination and equipment design leadership
