Process Engineer

A leading player in Singapore's Water Treatment industry, we are committed to delivering innovative and sustainable solutions for municipal and industrial clients. My client is seeking a Process Engineer to join our high-performing team. This role offers the opportunity to lead complex engineering projects, and contribute to the development of cutting-edge water treatment systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the technical point of contact for clients, resolving queries and supporting variation orders.
- Lead engineering teams to deliver process and mechanical designs aligned with project scope.
- Perform equipment sizing, hydraulic calculations, and prepare technical datasheets.
- Develop key engineering documents including PFDs, P&IDs, and design reports.
- Support detailed design, commissioning, and testing phases of water treatment systems.
- Review vendor documents and ensure compliance with design specifications.
- Coordinate inter-discipline deliverables and maintain organized project documentation.
- Contribute to training, handover manuals, and commissioning support.
- Conduct process studies and trend analysis to optimize system performance.
- Participate in project meetings and ensure timely delivery of process-related outputs.
Key Requirement:
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Water and Waste Treatment or Oil & Gas (onshore/offshore) sectors.
- Strong knowledge in the design of complex industrial water treatment systems.
- Experience in project management, plant testing & commissioning, or facility setup is highly advantageous.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project; strong technical writing and reporting skills.
- Willingness to travel overseas for project-related activities.
