Our client, a well-established civil engineering consulting firm, is seeking a Project Engineer to join their Land Development team in Pleasanton, California. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-impact commercial and residential development projects with a collaborative and technically strong team.
Responsibilities:
- Support the design and management of land development projects from concept through construction.
- Prepare engineering plans, reports, and specifications for grading, drainage, utilities, and roadway design.
- Coordinate with internal teams, clients, contractors, and public agencies to ensure project success.
- Assist in permitting processes and regulatory compliance.
- Conduct site visits and support construction administration as needed.
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to a positive team culture.
Qualifications:
- B.S. in Civil Engineering or related field (required).
- E.I.T. certification (required); P.E. license (preferred or in progress).
- 3+ years of experience in land development engineering.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and related design software.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
