Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Audiovisual Project Manager to join our team. This role involves planning, organizing, directing, and controlling resources and activities required to meet project deliverables, including client satisfaction, schedule adherence, and profitability. The position interfaces with construction management, general contractors, architects, clients, and AV consultants, and supervises both direct and subcontract labor. Responsibilities include coordinating with internal teams to resolve project issues and ensure quality installations.

Primary Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise project administration, subcontractors, and engineers to establish project guidelines, contract negotiation, staffing needs, and project meetings
• Collaborate with engineering during design and drafting phases and with purchasing for timely procurement of equipment
• Manage project budget, schedule, and scope of work
• Maintain a safe and compliant jobsite, ensuring all permitting and regulations are met
• Identify and resolve changes or issues during construction, including generating change orders
• Oversee technical aspects of projects, including engineering and construction activities, according to plans

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum of five years of experience managing large-scale AV implementations
• Familiarity with AV systems and platforms (e.g., Crestron, QSC)
• Ability to interpret financial reports and control costs for large projects
• Strong decision-making, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and general computer skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse teams
• Excellent customer service skills for internal and external stakeholders
