Regional Lead Structural Engineer
We are seeking a talented and motivated Structural Engineer to join a team recognized as a leader in an $11 billion American market. This role offers the opportunity to apply deep technical expertise, shape long‑term structural performance, and meaningfully impact clients' decision‑making.
As a Structural Engineer, you will assess existing structures, design repair solutions, and collaborate closely with internal teams and customers. You will serve as a technical resource across the project lifecycle, delivering clarity, confidence, and engineering excellence.
What You'll Do
- Conduct on‑site evaluations and surveys of existing structures to determine repair and maintenance needs.
- Produce clear, high‑quality inspection reports for internal teams and clients.
- Communicate structural assessments and follow‑up recommendations to the Territory Manager.
- Engineer and design structural repairs within your assigned region.
- Review structural drawings, calculations, construction documents, and respond to technical inquiries.
- Research building codes, industry standards, and technical specifications.
- Provide technical sales support for new and existing customer relationships.
- Advise project teams and subcontractors to ensure smooth technical execution.
- Participate in ongoing training and technical seminars to stay at the forefront of industry knowledge.
- Assist in training newly hired Structural Engineers as needed.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; P.E. license preferred.
- 5-10 years of experience in concrete construction, concrete repair/restoration, or forensic structural investigation.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong analytical and strategic problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑moving, evolving environment.
Role Details
- Primary territory: New England region.
- Reports directly to the Territory Manager.
- Self‑managed schedule with approximately 3 days/week in the field.
- Occasional overnight travel for trade shows, conferences, customer visits, and project needs.
- PPE may be required at plants or active construction sites; exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, and temperature variation is possible.
