Responsibilities:
Builds and maintains strong client relationships by regularly providing project status updates to both clients and internal leadership.
Collaborates with senior management to develop and implement effective project strategies that align with client goals and organizational standards.
Oversees financial aspects of the project, including budget tracking, revenue and cost forecasting, and processing of change orders.
Participates in cross-functional project meetings to review schedules, address project issues, and ensure timely execution.
Partners with key stakeholders to ensure project scope, timelines, and deliverables remain aligned and on track.
Delegates tasks effectively and mentors project team members, providing coaching, guidance, and performance feedback as needed.
Requirements:
- Four-year Engineering degree, or applicable experience
- Minimum 10 years of experience
- Expert knowledge of applicable building systems design, including HVAC, plumbing, and related engineering disciplines.
- Comprehensive understanding of design engineering processes and best practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of internal teams, clients, and general contractors.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple large and complex projects simultaneously.
- Strong public speaking skills, with the ability to confidently present technical information and project proposals to clients.
- Proficiency in computer software tools, including CADD, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
