With a strong reputation for pushing boundaries and redefining possibilities, they are seeking a Senior Project Manager (SPM) to join their team in Atlanta, GA.

As a Structural Engineer (Senior PM), you will:

  • Lead large, complex engineering projects or multiple smaller projects with diverse technical features.
  • Supervise and mentor a small team of engineers and technicians, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
  • Develop project scope, budgets, and proposals; manage projects to meet time, quality, and financial goals.
  • Engage directly with clients and apply risk management and contract negotiation expertise.
  • Prepare major reports and represent the organization in conferences and planning sessions.

This is a leadership-track position with shareholder potential, offering significant influence on technical direction and client relationships.

What You'll Need

  • Experience: 8+ years in civil/structural engineering or related field.
  • Education: MS or PhD in Civil/Structural Engineering or related discipline from an ABET-accredited university.
  • Licensure: Professional Engineer (PE) required.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Structural dynamics and earthquake engineering, particularly in nuclear applications.
    • Structural analysis and finite element modeling of non-building structures.
    • Familiarity with codes such as IBC, ASCE, ACI, and AISC.
  • Soft Skills: Strong ethics, excellent communication, collaborative mindset, and commitment to quality.
  • Other: Valid driver's license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Report.
