Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will play a central part in delivering structural engineering services across a diverse range of projects. Responsibilities include:
- Leading structural reviews, analysis, and design for both new builds and renovation projects.
- Coordinating structural modelling using 2D/3D design tools and preparing technical documentation and specifications.
- Conducting investigations of existing buildings and producing engineering reports and repair recommendations.
- Providing technical oversight and guidance to CAD/Revit technicians and collaborating with multidisciplinary team members.
- Engaging with clients to discuss upcoming work, preparing proposals, and supporting business development activities.
- Participating in professional and community initiatives aligned with the firm's values.
- Working through a structured development pathway aimed at building managerial and leadership skills.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will bring strong technical depth and a readiness to contribute at a leadership level. Requirements include:
- 6-12 years of experience in structural engineering, with expertise in analysis, design, and construction‑phase coordination.
- Candidates with building envelope/waterproofing experience including field assessments, analysis and repair experience are preferred
- Ability to conduct site visits & investigations
- Ability to collaborate effectively within design teams and support coordinated technical output.
- Experience with structural modelling tools and the preparation of comprehensive design documents.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence engaging with clients and colleagues.
