We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead field operations on a major water and wastewater construction project located in the Big Bend region of Texas. This position is ideal for a hands‑on leader with a strong background in underground utilities, treatment structures, pump/lift stations, and municipal water infrastructure. The role requires excellent field oversight, crew leadership, and a deep understanding of heavy civil and utility construction.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily field operations for water and wastewater infrastructure construction.
• Supervise craft workers, subcontractors, and field personnel to ensure safe, efficient productivity.
• Coordinate closely with project management, engineering, QA/QC, and inspectors.
• Oversee utility installation, concrete work, structural components, and associated sitework.
• Monitor progress, maintain daily reporting, and ensure adherence to plans and specifications.
• Conduct toolbox talks, enforce safety protocols, and maintain a culture of safe operations.
• Manage scheduling, sequencing, resource allocation, and problem‑solving in the field.
• Provide proactive communication with stakeholders to keep the project on track.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of superintendent experience in water/wastewater or heavy civil utility projects.
• Strong background in underground piping, concrete structures, and municipal utility systems.
• Proven leadership ability managing crews and multiple concurrent work activities.
• Thorough understanding of safety practices, QA/QC standards, and construction documentation.
• Ability to interpret civil drawings, specifications, and schedules.
• Strong communication and decision‑making skills.
• Willingness to work in the Big Bend region for the duration of the project.
