[SG] Construction Manager

Position Overview
As a Construction Manager, you'll be overseeing site operations and procurement activities. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth execution, regulatory compliance, and efficient resource management across all phases of construction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead on-site construction and installation activities, ensuring alignment with project goals.
  • Develop and manage detailed execution plans and schedules, including key milestones.
  • Establish and enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Organize site coordination meetings and prepare progress and quality reports.
  • Handle permit applications and approvals with local authorities (e.g., TOP, building plans).
  • Collaborate with professional engineers and inspectors to meet technical requirements.
  • Supervise subcontractors and ensure timely resolution of site-related issues.
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, and suppliers to maintain project momentum.
  • Support inspections and other regulatory engagements with government officers.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support project success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Building or Construction Management.
  • At least 8 years of experience in construction management, preferably in industrial or pharmaceutical sectors.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience managing supplier relationships.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
  • Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in procurement platforms and construction management tools.
  • Familiarity with Singapore's construction regulations and standards.
  • Mandarin fluency is advantageous for cross-border coordination.
  • Willingness to work outside regular hours when required by project timelines.
