Key Responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis and design for buildings and other structures using steel, concrete, wood, and masonry.
- Prepare construction documents, specifications, and reports.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design and safety standards.
- Stay current with local building codes, seismic regulations, and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- PE license in California (or ability to obtain within 6 months).
- 4+ years of relevant experience in structural design and analysis.
- Proficiency in structural software such as ETABS, SAP2000, RISA, or similar.
- Strong communication and project management skills.
Preferred
- Experience with seismic design and retrofitting in California.
- Familiarity with Revit and BIM workflows.
