Application Manager
Company Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Application Manager to join our wastewater team. Our organisation is a global engineering leader with a strong track record in delivering advanced equipment and process solutions for industrial and environmental applications, particularly in wastewater treatment.
The role focuses on managing technical applications, supporting equipment sales across project lifecycles, and delivering client-focused solutions. You will play a key role in ensuring our technologies are effectively applied in customer projects, bridging technical expertise with commercial engagement.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead and manage application engineering activities for wastewater treatment projects.
- Provide technical support across bidding, proposal, and project execution stages.
- Evaluate client requirements and recommend suitable wastewater treatment technologies, equipment, and solutions.
- Oversee application design, including process simulations and performance calculations.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to ensure solutions align with customer needs and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate and prioritise workload across multiple projects effectively.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and application guidelines.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, consultants, and key industry stakeholders.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in wastewater treatment, including at least 3 years in a managerial or lead application role.
- Strong knowledge of wastewater treatment technologies (biological, chemical, physical, and membrane processes).
- Proven track record in application design and proposal preparation.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Familiarity with relevant wastewater industry standards, codes, and regulations.
- Willingness to travel locally and internationally as required.
