Job Title: Assistant/Commissioning Manager
Overview
The Assistant/Commissioning Manager plays a key role in supporting the Testing and Commissioning Manager in the execution of commissioning activities for data center projects. This position ensures that all systems are rigorously tested and meet operational standards, contributing to the successful delivery of high-performance facilities.
Key Responsibilities
Planning Support
- Assist in developing and maintaining commissioning execution plans, including schedules and resource allocation.
- Help update commissioning procedures to ensure alignment with project specifications.
Documentation Review
- Review engineering documents to confirm that commissioning requirements are integrated into the design.
- Support the preparation of performance test procedures in accordance with industry standards.
Execution Oversight
- Aid in the execution of pre-commissioning, commissioning, and startup activities, ensuring compliance with procedures and timelines.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to facilitate equipment testing and commissioning.
Reporting & Communication
- Prepare progress reports for the Testing and Commissioning Manager, highlighting key milestones and challenges.
- Maintain effective communication with project teams, vendors, and stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
Quality Assurance
- Participate in inspections and audits to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues during the commissioning phase.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of 6 years' experience in testing and commissioning within the construction or engineering sector, preferably involving data centers or similar facilities.
- Strong grasp of engineering principles, commissioning workflows, and performance testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
