About the Role

We are seeking a driven and strategic Business Development Manager to lead growth in the residential energy storage segment across Australia. This is a high-impact role responsible for expanding channel partnerships, driving product adoption, and strengthening the company's position in the Australian residential renewables sector.

You'll play a central role in accelerating market penetration, nurturing installer and distributor relationships, and identifying new business opportunities in one of the fastest-growing energy markets globally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a business development strategy to grow residential market share across NSW.
  • Identify, onboard, and manage relationships with solar installers, distributors, EPCs, and retail partners.
  • Conduct product presentations, training sessions, and technical briefings for partners and stakeholders.
  • Monitor territory performance, generate sales forecasts, and report market insights to the regional leadership team.
  • Drive awareness of new product launches and support marketing campaigns and events.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of competitor offerings, industry regulations, and market trends.
  • Collaborate with technical and after-sales teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or channel management within the solar, energy storage, electrical, or renewable energy sectors.
  • Strong understanding of the Australian residential solar and ESS market.
  • Established network within installer or distributor communities is highly advantageous.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship‑building skills.
  • Ability to work independently with strong initiative and commercial acumen.
  • Willingness to travel regionally for partner visits, events, and training sessions.
