Location: Tokyo
Reports to: Country Manager

Overview:
We are seeking a Business Planning Manager to lead strategy and operations for our commercial function within the Global leader for their digital service / IoT / software services.This role is critical in shaping business growth through data-driven insights and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategy and operations plans for commercial activities.
  • Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Design and implement pricing strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Prepare and manage reporting and sales plans across the MNC business.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and performance.
  • Formulate strategies to grow the company platform by leveraging internal resources.
  • Collaborate with international teams to ensure alignment and execution.

Requirements:

  • Strong data-driven mindset with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven experience in consulting combined with in-house operational experience.
  • Ability to think strategically while remaining hands-on in execution.
  • Fluent in English and Japanese (business level).
  • Experience working in multinational environments and cross-cultural teams.
