Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Commissioning Manager to lead and execute commissioning activities for large-scale renewable energy projects. This role is critical to ensuring systems are installed, tested, and energized safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all standards. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a proven ability to manage complex commissioning processes in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the full commissioning lifecycle for utility-scale projects, including pre-functional checks, system validation, and handover.
- Develop and maintain commissioning schedules aligned with project milestones.
- Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of engineers, technicians, and third-party specialists.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, QA/QC standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with engineering, construction, and OEM partners to resolve technical issues and validate performance guarantees.
- Prepare and manage commissioning documentation, including test plans, reports, and turnover packages.
- Drive continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and refining commissioning processes.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in commissioning renewable energy systems (Solar PV and/or BESS preferred).
- Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, safety standards, and industry codes.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- OSHA certifications and familiarity with NFPA, UL standards are a plus.
