Raleigh, NC | Full-Time, On-site | Architecture Firm

Salary: $105k - $120k

We're seeking a skilled Construction Administrator to support the construction phase of higher education, K-12, civic, and public safety projects across North Carolina. This role ensures design intent is met through proactive field coordination, documentation, and communication with contractors, owners, and internal project teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct site visits; prepare field reports, punch lists, and closeout documentation.
  • Review and process RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and samples.
  • Participate in OAC and progress meetings; distribute minutes and action items.
  • Support evaluation of pay apps, change orders, and construction progress.
  • Collaborate with project teams to resolve field issues and maintain quality.

Qualifications

  • 15+ years' experience in construction administration, architecture, or construction management.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, construction sequencing, and reading drawings/specs.
  • Experience with public-sector projects (higher ed, K-12, municipal, public safety) preferred.
  • Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field
  • Proficiency with Procore, Newforma, Bluebeam, or similar tools.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to sites in NC.
