Construction Project Manager - Data Centers

We are working on behalf of a nationally recognized construction client that is actively growing its Mission Critical division and is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the delivery of large-scale data center projects across the Dallas market.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established organization with a strong pipeline of hyperscale, colocation, and mission critical projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in leading projects from preconstruction through turnover, ensuring delivery is safe, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the overall execution of data center construction projects from inception through completion.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, procurement activities, and subcontractor performance.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, design teams, vendors, and field operations to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies when required.
  • Oversee contract administration, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation.
  • Monitor project costs and financial performance, including forecasting, reporting, and cost control.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support and mentor Project Engineers and other junior team members.
  • Lead project meetings and provide regular updates to internal leadership and clients.
  • Drive successful project closeout activities, commissioning support, and turnover processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience managing data center, mission critical, or other highly technical construction projects is required.
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager within a general contractor or construction management environment.
  • Strong understanding of MEP systems, commissioning processes, and mission critical infrastructure.
  • Experience managing project budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client relationships.
  • Proficiency with construction management software and scheduling tools.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
