We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our growing team in Houston, TX. This role will focus on ground-up commercial construction projects, including restaurants, administrative buildings, and high-rise developments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage electrical scopes on multiple ground-up commercial projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Coordinate with general contractors, owners, engineers, and inspectors
- Develop project schedules, budgets, and work plans
- Oversee subcontractors, vendors, and on-site field teams
- Review drawings, specifications, and change orders to ensure compliance
- Track costs, manage materials procurement, and control labor productivity
- Ensure all work meets local Texas codes, safety standards, and quality expectations
- Lead project meetings and provide regular progress reports
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as an Electrical Project Manager or similar role
- Strong background in commercial ground-up construction, including tenant build-outs and vertical construction
- Experience with projects such as restaurants, office/admin buildings, and high-rise structures
- Solid understanding of electrical systems, NEC requirements, and local Houston building codes
- Proven ability to manage schedules, budgets, and teams simultaneously
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with project management software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar)
- Journeyman or Master Electrician license preferred but not required
