We are partnering with an established, multi‑disciplinary engineering firm based in New Jersey to identify a Senior Geotechnical Project Manager to lead and deliver complex geotechnical projects across the region. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage geotechnical engineering projects from proposal through delivery
  • Direct and oversee subsurface investigations, field programs, and laboratory testing
  • Perform and review geotechnical analyses including foundation design, slope stability, and settlement
  • Prepare and review technical reports and recommendations
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on assigned projects
  • Coordinate with civil, environmental, and structural teams on multidisciplinary work
  • Mentor and support junior and mid‑level engineers
  • Assist with proposals, budgeting, scheduling, and project profitability
  • Manage diverse project portfolio across commercial, residential, infrastructure, and redevelopment work

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline (geotechnical focus required)
  • Master's degree in Geotechnical or Civil Engineering strongly preferred
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required
  • Minimum 10+ years of geotechnical engineering experience, with significant project management responsibility
  • Must be able to work an in-office model full time

  • Leadership of geotechnical investigations
  • Slope stability and settlement analysis
  • Foundation design and earthwork recommendations
  • Practical, design‑focused geotechnical engineering (field‑to‑report execution)
