A leading healthcare organisation in Northern California is looking for an experienced Healthcare Activation Manager to join their team and drive the successful transition and activation of clinical environments across the region.
This is a high-impact role sitting at the intersection of project management, clinical operations, and facilities, ideal for someone who thrives in complex, fast-moving environments and takes real ownership of outcomes.
What you'll be doing
You'll lead the planning and execution of hospital and healthcare facility activations, coordinating cross-functional teams across clinical, facilities, and operational workstreams. Day to day, that means developing activation plans and timelines, managing stakeholder engagement from C-suite to frontline staff, and ensuring every department is ready to go live on time and to standard. You'll also work closely with construction and project teams, coordinating closely during build and fit-out phases to ensure operational readiness aligns with project delivery.
What we're looking for
- Proven experience in healthcare transition and activation planning, ideally within acute or large-scale clinical settings
- Hands-on experience in construction coordination, with the ability to liaise effectively between construction, design, and clinical teams during phased handovers
- Strong scheduling and time management skills, with a track record of keeping complex, multi-workstream projects on programme
- Confident communication skills with the ability to align clinical and non-clinical stakeholders around a shared plan
- Familiarity with tools and methodologies used in operational readiness and go-live planning
- California-based or willing to relocate, Bay Area presence preferred
