Salary: $135,000- $185,000 + Bonus(s)
A well‑established heavy civil General Contractor in the Seattle area is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex infrastructure and public‑works projects across the Puget Sound region. About the Role
The Project Manager will oversee field operations, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, subcontractor relations, and stakeholder coordination across multiple heavy civil scopes. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical foundations and the leadership abilities needed to guide project teams toward safe, efficient, and high‑quality delivery.
Experience Needed
- 5-10+ years of experience in heavy civil construction (roadways, utilities, structures, earthwork, bridges, or water/wastewater)
- Experience managing WSDOT, municipal, or public‑works projects
- Proven track record running projects from bid through completion
- Experience leading field crews, subcontractors, and engineering support teams
- Strong understanding of cost control, scheduling, change orders, and QA/QC
- Experience working with city, county, and state agencies
- Background with alternate delivery methods (CM/GC, design‑build) is a plus
Qualifications Needed
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred)
- Strong understanding of civil plan sets, specifications, permits, and contract documents
- Proficiency with project management tools (P6, HCSS, Procore, Bluebeam, or similar)
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple scopes simultaneously
- Strong commitment to safety and environmental compliance
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites across the Seattle region
