This role is ideal for someone passionate about climate impact, carbon markets, and data-driven decarbonization strategies. You will play a critical role in developing quantitative models that inform strategic decisions for clients in energy, infrastructure, and industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain quantitative models for carbon pricing, energy markets, and emissions forecasting.
- Analyze market dynamics, including supply-demand trends and regulatory impacts, to support client decision-making.
- Conduct scenario modeling to evaluate decarbonization pathways and investment strategies.
- Collaborate with consultants and technical teams to integrate modeling outputs into broader sustainability solutions.
- Stay current with international carbon accounting standards and market developments.
Qualifications
- Degree in Economics, Engineering, Environmental Science, Applied Mathematics, or related field.
- 1-5 years of experience in energy systems modeling, carbon accounting, or financial modeling.
- Proficiency in tools such as Python, R, Excel, or specialized modeling software.
- Strong understanding of carbon pricing mechanisms, renewable energy certificates, and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to present complex data clearly.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with energy or industrial clients in Australia
- Familiarity with ESG reporting platforms and regional regulatory frameworks.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
