We are seeking a hands‑on Project Manager to join our team in Houston, Texas. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in the field as well as in project controls, and who has a proven background delivering commercial projects and educational facilities ranging from $5M to $20M.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day‑to‑day operations across commercial and school projects valued between $5M and $20M
- Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and cost control
- Maintain ownership of project documentation, reporting, and administrative processes
- Lead jobsite activities with a strong field presence and a proactive, hands‑on approach
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure project milestones are achieved
- Uphold safety, quality, and compliance standards across all project phases
- Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders throughout the Houston market
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing commercial and/or educational projects in the $5M-$20M range
- Strong field leadership skills and a hands‑on management style
- Solid understanding of budgeting, cost tracking, and project financials
- Excellent communication, organization, and decision‑making abilities
- Experience working within the Houston construction market is preferred
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high attention to detail
