Project Manager / Senior Project Manager - Water/Wastewater
An established, employee-owned engineering consultancy is seeking an experienced Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to support the growth of its Water/Wastewater practice in Iowa.
This opportunity is ideal for someone with strong municipal water experience who wants greater project ownership, direct client relationships and a clear path into broader leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead municipal water and wastewater projects from planning through construction.
- Manage project scope, schedule, budget, quality and client satisfaction.
- Oversee water treatment, pumping, storage, transmission and distribution projects.
- Support wastewater treatment and collection system projects.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams and provide technical and QA/QC oversight.
- Build trusted relationships with municipal clients and utility leaders.
- Mentor engineers and support team development.
- Assist with proposals, client development and practice growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental or a related Engineering discipline.
- Professional Engineer licence required, or the ability to obtain one.
- Experience delivering municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
- Strong project management, technical leadership and client-facing skills.
- Knowledge of permitting, regulatory compliance and construction administration.
- Experience mentoring engineers and coordinating project teams.
