Our client is a leading global provider of advanced water and wastewater treatment solutions, supporting critical industries including semiconductor, electronics manufacturing, and industrial processing. With a strong international footprint and growing presence in Asia, they are expanding their commercial team in India to capitalise on increasing demand for high-purity and industrial water solutions.

The Role

We are seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead business development and sales activities across India. This role will focus on driving growth within the semiconductor, electronics, and industrial wastewater sectors, targeting both multinational and local clients.

The ideal candidate brings strong technical and commercial expertise in water/wastewater treatment, combined with experience engaging stakeholders in high-specification industries. This is an opportunistic role suited for an expatriate or internationally experienced professional who has worked overseas and is comfortable operating in a regional capacity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales growth across India by identifying and securing new business opportunities in the semiconductor, electronics, and industrial segments
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with regional and global objectives
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, EPC contractors, consultants, and industry stakeholders
  • Lead the full sales cycle from opportunity identification through to negotiation and contract closure
  • Provide technical-commercial solutions tailored to client needs in water and wastewater treatment systems
  • Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to ensure solution feasibility and delivery excellence
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments in India
  • Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and key client meetings
  • Achieve and exceed annual sales targets and KPIs
