Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies to drive growth in gas and smart water metering across Middle Asia/Central Asia (Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan).
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with utilities, government projects, OEMs, and distributors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with major utility companies and key stakeholders.
  • Lead market entry strategies for emerging countries, including partner sourcing, onboarding, and customer engagement.
  • Expand business networks across target regions.
  • Define and achieve regional sales targets and KPIs.
  • Develop and manage a robust distributor and end-user network.
  • Drive proof of concept and field trials, providing hands-on support.
  • Execute pricing strategies, quotations, tender participation, and contract negotiations.
  • Maintain a strong sales pipeline and deliver accurate forecasts and reports.
  • Implement marketing strategies and campaigns in collaboration with the factory.
  • Organize customer events, trade shows, exhibitions, and webinars.
  • Gather and analyze market intelligence on competitors, pricing, and customer needs.
  • Lead or support product testing and certification efforts with local agencies.
  • Stay updated on national metrology and gas metering standards in target countries.
  • Collaborate with product, R&D, operations, marketing, and legal teams to adapt solutions to local requirements.
  • Provide structured market feedback for product enhancements and roadmap planning.

Job Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 8-10 years in business development or sales within metering, utilities, or IoT sectors.
  • Proven track record in driving sales growth and managing distributor networks.
  • Strong knowledge of gas and water metering technologies and regulatory standards.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote setting.
  • Willingness to travel across Middle Asia/Central Asia as required.
