Senior Director - Construction Damages
Overview
LVI Associates are working with a leading global consultancy to appoint a Senior Director within its Construction Disputes practice, specialising in forensic accounting, damages quantification, and dispute advisory.
This role is suited to a commercially minded professional with a strong background in construction-related claims, delay and disruption analysis, and financial damages, who can lead complex engagements and interface directly with clients.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and oversee complex dispute and advisory engagements across construction and infrastructure projects
Perform and review damages quantification, including delay, disruption, and financial impact analysis
Develop and manage robust financial and analytical models to support expert opinions and client deliverables
Act as a key point of contact for clients, delivering clear, defensible findings and recommendations
Manage project teams and ensure delivery against timelines, budgets, and scope requirements
Anticipate client needs and proactively manage scope changes and engagement risks
Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams, ensuring effective communication across all stakeholders
Support the development of internal capabilities, including training materials and knowledge sharing
Candidate Profile
Approximately 8-10 years' experience in forensic accounting, disputes, or construction advisory
Strong experience in construction claims, including delay, disruption, and damages analysis
Proven ability to lead projects and manage client relationships in a consulting environment
Advanced analytical capability with experience building complex financial models and analyses
Demonstrated ability to work independently, solve problems, and navigate ambiguity
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex findings clearly and confidently
Experience mentoring or contributing to team development and training initiatives
Technical & Professional Skills
Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and data analysis tools
Strong understanding of project controls, financial reporting, and cost analysis
Exposure to schedule delay analysis and disruption assessments
Knowledge of litigation support and expert services environments is highly desirable
Education
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related discipline
MBA or postgraduate qualification in Forensic Accounting / Fraud Examination preferred
