Senior Land Surveyor - Colorado
I'm working with an employee-owned engineering, surveying, and consulting firm that is looking to add a Licensed Professional Land Surveyor to support projects throughout New Mexico or Colorado. This is an excellent opportunity for a survey professional who enjoys managing projects, leading teams, mentoring staff, and working on a diverse mix of boundary, ALTA, topographic, subdivision, and right-of-way surveys.

Responsibilities
- Prepare proposals and fee estimates for survey projects.
- Manage boundary surveys, subdivision staking, ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, right-of-way and easement staking, and topographic surveys.
- Coordinate and oversee multiple survey crews and survey technicians.
- Review, seal, and sign survey deliverables.
- Process and analyze survey data.
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D for survey-related tasks.
- Operate and manage projects using Trimble GPS/RTK systems, Robotic Total Stations, and Trimble Business Center (TBC).
- Track project budgets, utilization, and accounts receivable.
- Collaborate closely with engineers, project teams, and clients.
- Ensure quality control standards and safety procedures are followed.
Requirements
- Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in New Mexico or Colorado required.
- Additional licensure in Arizona, Utah, or Texas is a plus.
- 10+ years of surveying experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Surveying or a related field preferred.
- Strong project management and leadership skills.
- Valid driver's license.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
