Senior Originator - Renewables (m/w/d)
As a Senior Originator Renewables, you will play a key role in driving the commercial growth of the business across the German renewable energy market. You will be responsible for identifying, developing, and executing new commercial opportunities with renewable energy generators, storage operators, utilities, industrial customers, and other market participants.
Working at the intersection of renewable energy and energy markets, you will originate and negotiate complex commercial agreements, helping clients maximize the value of their assets while supporting the company's continued expansion. You will collaborate closely with trading, risk, analytics, and portfolio management teams to develop tailored solutions that meet evolving customer requirements.
Responsibilities
- Originate and develop new business opportunities across the renewable energy and flexibility sectors.
- Build and maintain relationships with renewable energy developers, asset owners, battery storage operators, utilities, and industrial energy consumers.
- Structure, negotiate, and execute commercial agreements, including route-to-market solutions, PPAs, and other energy-related products.
- Identify market opportunities and develop innovative commercial propositions aligned with customer needs.
- Manage the full deal lifecycle, from initial outreach and qualification through negotiation and contract execution.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing insights into energy market developments and value-creation opportunities.
- Work closely with internal trading, portfolio management, risk, and analytics teams to deliver competitive market solutions.
- Represent the business at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance market presence and generate new opportunities.
- Contribute to the development of commercial strategy and support expansion into new market segments.
- Monitor market trends, regulatory developments, and competitive dynamics within the renewable energy sector.
