What You'll Be Doing
- Take the lead on electrical design for mission critical and data center facilities, including complex power distribution and backup systems
- Drive projects from early concept through IFC, owning the technical delivery end-to-end
- Produce and oversee:
- One-line and three-line diagrams
- Power distribution layouts and system plans
- Protection and control schemes
- Specify and integrate critical infrastructure such as:
- Switchgear, transformers, breakers, and relays
- Grounding systems and emergency power solutions
- Collaborate directly with major equipment vendors and package providers to deliver efficient, constructible solutions
- Perform and review advanced power system studies (arc flash, coordination, grounding, load flow) using ETAP or SKM
- Play a key role in client interaction, working alongside owners, architects, and contractors
- Provide technical leadership, reviewing shop drawings and guiding junior engineers
- Contribute to the growth of the business by supporting client development and expanding the data center portfolio
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- 7+ years of experience in power systems, industrial, or mission critical design
- Proven experience supporting data center or high-density power environments
- Strong command of electrical systems design, coordination, and constructability
- Proficiency withRevit and familiarity with:
- IEEE, NFPA, UL, and NEMA standards
- Experience designing routing for:
- Conduit systems
- Cable tray and high-capacity distribution pathways
- Hands-on experience with ETAP or SKM modeling
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
- Strong communicator with the ability to lead projects and collaborate across teams
