The Role
They are seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our client's Memphis team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead complex projects, mentor junior engineers, and play a key role in shaping the future of their structural engineering practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead structural design and analysis for commercial, industrial, and institutional projects.
- Prepare and review engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor construction and resolve technical issues.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's preferred).
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Minimum 8+ years of structural engineering experience.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD).
- Strong knowledge of building codes and standards (IBC, AISC, ACI).
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
