Site Design Engineering Manager
The Renewable Site Design Engineering Manager plays a pivotal role in leading civil design and technical solutions for utility-scale renewable projects. This position combines strategic oversight with hands-on leadership, guiding a team of design professionals to deliver high-quality results. This Manager can sit out of the Denver, Houston, or Las Vegas office.
Key responsibilities
- Lead civil design efforts for utility-scale renewable projects
- Defining project scopes, schedules, and resource needs
- Supervising and mentoring staff
- Fostering a collaborative, innovative work environment.
- Ensures QA/QC standards are upheld, manages budgets, supports proposal development, and identifies opportunities for additional scope and revenue
- Engaging in business development and building strong relationships with clients and internal teams for both project success and organizational growth in the renewable energy sector
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- 7+ years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on renewable site design
- Proven expertise in civil design and technical solutions for renewable projects
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Experience in project planning, budget management, and proposal development
- Knowledge of QA/QC standards and workflow optimization
- Demonstrated ability to mentor staff and foster team collaboration
