Overview:
A well-established industrial electrical contractor is seeking an experienced Installation Project Manager to lead and oversee industrial electrical installation projects. This full-time role involves managing projects both locally and across the country, with a focus on engineering, programming, custom control panels, system controls, and electrical installations. The company specializes exclusively in industrial work-no residential or commercial projects-making this an ideal opportunity for professionals looking to advance in the industrial sector.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead industrial electrical installation projects from start to finish
- Schedule and coordinate project timelines, resources, and personnel
- Supervise and support a team of foremen working on electrical construction projects
- Collaborate with engineers, the Installation Manager, and customers to ensure successful project execution
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, electrical codes, and customer requirements
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Oversee work involving 480V power distribution systems
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of project management experience, specifically managing and scheduling a team of foremen on electrical construction projects
- Strong knowledge of NEC, NFPA 79, and OSHA standards
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and prints
- Skilled in conduit layout and bending
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Journeyman electrician license preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license required
Job Requirements:
- Ability to work regular day shifts and overtime as needed
- Capable of lifting/moving up to 75 lbs
- Must provide own hand tools (power tools supplied)
- Willingness to travel for projects
- Reliable transportation
- Must pass background checks and random drug/alcohol screenings
