The Opportunity

We are seeking a Structural Engineer with 0-10 years of experience to join our Peoria team. This role offers the chance to work on diverse building and infrastructure projects from concept through construction, collaborating within a multidisciplinary environment.


Responsibilities

  • Structural Design & Analysis: Perform calculations and design for steel, concrete, masonry, and wood structural systems following applicable codes.
  • Modeling & Documentation: Produce structural models, drawings, and details using tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, and industry‑standard analysis software.
  • Project Coordination: Work closely with architects, civil engineers, survey teams, and other disciplines to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Construction Support: Assist with site visits, RFIs, submittal reviews, and field issue resolutions.
  • Quality & Client Service: Contribute to the firm's reputation for precision, technical rigor, and trustworthy project delivery.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's preferred for advanced levels).
  • EIT/FE certification or ability to obtain within six months; PE is a plus for candidates with higher experience.
  • Working knowledge of structural analysis/design tools and BIM/CAD platforms.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving ability.
  • Interest in multidisciplinary collaboration (structural, civil, forensics, survey).
