Our client, a highly respected environmental consulting firm, is seeking an experienced Biologist Regional Office Lead to help drive the continued growth of its Northern California biological resources practice.
This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned environmental professional who combines strong technical expertise with a passion for leadership, client engagement, and business development. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping biological services across the region while leading impactful projects that support infrastructure, energy, water, transportation, and land development initiatives.
What You'll Do
- Lead complex biological resource projects from planning and permitting through implementation
- Provide technical guidance on environmental compliance, regulatory strategy, and natural resource management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, agencies, and project stakeholders
- Mentor, develop, and support a growing team of biologists and environmental professionals
- Drive business growth by identifying new opportunities and supporting client development efforts
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative environmental solutions
- Serve as a strategic leader within the Northern California operation
What We're Looking For
- Extensive experience in biological resources, environmental consulting, or natural resource management
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental regulations and permitting processes
- Demonstrated success leading complex projects and managing client relationships
