Role Summary
About the Organisation
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle delivery of Building Automation and DDC controls projects
- Maintain responsibility for project financial performance, forecasting, budgeting, and profitability
- Lead project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and execution
- Manage and support controls engineers, programmers, commissioning personnel, and field teams
- Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout project delivery
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers, contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders
- Review project specifications, drawings, sequences of operation, and technical documentation
- Monitor project progress to ensure quality, safety, schedule, and financial objectives are achieved
- Identify project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies
- Support business growth through strong customer relationships and successful project outcomes
Required Experience & Skills
- Proven experience managing Building Automation, BMS, BAS, or HVAC controls projects
- Strong technical background in Building Automation Systems and DDC controls
- Solid understanding of mechanical HVAC systems and equipment
- Demonstrated success managing project budgets, financial reporting, change orders, and project profitability
- Experience leading and developing technical project teams
- Strong client-facing communication and relationship management skills
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Experience reviewing technical documentation and supporting complex controls strategies
- Valid driver's licence and ability to travel to project sites as required
Additional / Desirable Experience
- Experience across multiple DDC platforms
- Previous involvement in healthcare, pharmaceutical, commercial, or higher education projects
- Exposure to complex retrofit, upgrade, and integration projects
- Experience working within a controls contractor or systems integration environment
- Familiarity with open protocol systems including BACnet and Modbus

Location & Working Pattern
