What You'll Do:
- Perform electrical design calculations for low/medium voltage power distribution, lighting, security/fire systems, and data/telecommunications systems
- Coordinate project assignments with engineers and project managers
- Review drawings from vendors, clients, architects, and engineers, recommending necessary changes
- Research code issues and collaborate with City, State, and County officials
- Explore design options and document findings for senior engineers and project managers
- Attend kick-off and design review meetings, interacting with clients as your experience grows
- Support additional tasks as assigned by the Senior Project Manager
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- PE license preferred
- 5+ years of experience in electrical design, ideally in commercial or institutional projects
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and power analysis tools like SKM or E-Tap
- Strong understanding of California building codes, Title 24, and permitting processes
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
